During Fall 1998 Semester I attended a program called Semester at Sea, circumnavigating the world in 100 days, and visiting 10 countries where I conducted extensive regional travel, and learned about the country's culture, people, history, and economics. Semester at Sea, undoubtly, was one of the best things that I have ever done!
One of the classes I took on the ship was advanced black & white photography. Displayed are some of my photos from around the world.

Shimon Peres was scheduled to address the students of Cornell University on Wednesday, April 30 but he was forced to cancel due to the current political unrest in Israel. The truth is that I'm really pissed that he won't be able to make it. Not only would it have been a wonderful opportunity to meet such a dignified figure from my home country at a time when I could use a break from studying, but I also stood in line for half-an-hour for the tickets :-( It's also a shame for the Cornell community. Click here to learn more about the cancellation and what Peres' visit was supposed to consist of; after all, it wasn't me that he was coming to see!

Now to a slightly different topic...

Lately, it seems as if the Cornell archives have become a very popular place!
